INFO
On February 7th, 1971, the majority of Swiss men, in total 65,7%, voted in favor of women's suffrage. For the 50th anniversary, I was asked to create an exhibition in this context.
Over several months, I explored women as beings, with their strengths and beauty. I asked myself questions such as what fascinates me about women, whether I feel feminine myself and, if so, what it means for me to be a woman.
During the process I focused on working intuitively. As a graphic designer, the work is characterized by conceptual thinking, which can sometimes hinder free, intuitive creativity. This theme offered me the opportunity to let intuition guide me more.
The result is a conceptually curated selection of drawings and paintings.
